Here’s what to expect:

You may be asked a series of questions about your recent health; emphasis will be on your medical history and your symptoms . A part of the exam may include instructing you to bend your head forward to check for increased pressure in the face or sinuses. We may ask you to use your fingers to press over the sides or front of your neck to check for tenderness or swelling of lymph nodes and also a check of your skin for rash. Additionally, our medical providers may ask to examine the back of your throat, nose or eyes and you may be instructed to angle your phone or tablet to allow inspection.


If we prescribe treatment, a pharmacy staff member will be dispatched to your home to deliver medications as appropriate. If we suspect you have the flu, a rapid flu test may also be delivered along with directions on how to perform the test for confirmation of the flu. 


  • Due to concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) most insurance carriers are covering telemedicine visits

  • IndyCare does not guarantee your insurance will cover all of your medical costs and you are ultimately responsible for the cost of care provided by IndyCare.

  • Not available for the following patients:

  • Pregnant women (and women up to two weeks postpartum)
    Residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities

  • Weakened immune system due to disease or medication (such as people with HIV or AIDS, or cancer, or those on chronic steroids)
